HG-type of keypad

The HG-type of keypad is special version of the KTP-type with additional full coating with laser etched symbols and images.

The HG-type of keypad is special version of the KTP-type with additional full coating with laser etched symbols and images. The coating paint used is also based on silicone rubber and has a long-life due to the degree of cross-linking with the silicone key-top. An additional coating is used for the durability.

The HG-type provides highlighted images and graphics for backlit applications. Often, the HG-type is used as an overlay and sealing in combination with separate Innertype of keypad.

The construction of the HG-type is:
1. silicone moulded shape
2. transparent coloured coating (image colour)
3. dark colour coating
4. laser cutting of symbols and images
5. protective overcoating.
