GB-E-type of Inter-Connector
The GB-E-type of Inter-Connector, used for board to board and component to board connections, consists of one or more rows of gold-plated brass wires in silicone rubber. Randomly positioning the Inter-Connector between contact pads and providing compression will realize a stable, low resistance connection.
Furthermore, the GB-E-type is used as base of a wide range of special custom designs of Inter-Connectors with additional moulding frames or holders for connecting microphone, speaker, coin-batteries, sensors and other electronic components, providing a module of component and Inter-Connector. Such Inter-Connector system provides a combination of electrical connection and mechanical or acoustic functions.
For harsh environments, an alternative type of conductive wire can be used, based on Nikkel-Titanium, to provide extra contact pressure and eliminate negative effects of vibrations and mechanical shock.
