FB-type

The FB-type of keypad is an assembly of a silicone rubber membrane with plastic film buttons. The plastic film buttons are based on a printed film, vacuum formed and inmoulded to rigid plastic elements. The printed legends of these buttons are on the inside of the film.
Similar to the the other types of keypads, electrical conductive contact element can be added to create a switch function when pushing onto a contact pattern on the PCB or FPC. Various contact elements are available to meet specific electronic switching requirements.

The construction of the FB-type is:
1. silicone rubber moulded membrane (contact elements optional)
2. In-mould decorative film buttons
3. assembly of buttons on silicone rubber membrane.
