For mounting Shin-Etsu heatseal Inter-Connectors, 
special bonding equipment is required.
As a component supplier, Shin-Etsu Polymer keeps close relations with equipment manufacturers that offer heatseal machines.
Generally, 2 types of equipment can be seen:
* Constant heat machines, using a heater block that is permanently heated for fast bonding cycles. A hot, heatconductive silicone rubber cushion will transfer bonding heat to the application.
* Pulse heater machines, based on solder equipment technology, heating up a thermode by electric current and cooling down the bonding area at the end of the heatseal process cycle. The slightly longer process cycle provides extra strength of the bond. This system is particularly popular for automotive applications.
